Default Whose got a Samson's Post in their bow?

I think I have a Samson's post coming my way for the SC. Anyone have one installed in their SC for big game fishing? I currently have a raised deck and a bow swivel that we fight fish from, but love the idea of putting in a Samson's Post for when fishing with lighter gear during charters an rec trips.

First thought was glassing in the deck to bolt the post too but then you lost all that bow storage. Anyone have any thoughts?

My previous boat a 23 sf had swivel rod holders every were .we would move whatever rod that we were tight on to fight fish out of the bow in a swivel rod holder .my new boat has a Sampson post in the bow and I can honestly say I love it ,i wish I had had one a long time ago. I feel like I have a lot more control over the fish and it is a much more comfortable for long battles.i have also seen these modified were the cut the length of center section and mounted the base onto the tunnel cap.
