75 18sf resto
My seacraft is coming right along. Couldn’t afford coosa so we went with okume wood. Extra time was spent win glassing to make waterproof. Hope to have it back for rigging within a month. Getting gel coat and non skid on full topside. The transom will be gelled then getting ice blue Aelfric. Hopin to strike gold on an nice skinner and taller console at marine connection. Bracket and i-Pilot will be installed. To offset bracket we beefed up front box for 2 trolling motor batteries will go gam for vibration. Tabs are here. Putting my2 stroke yami on for another season to see performance and weight. For repower b4 next year. Watcha guys think?

While servicing my 75 18' CC fuel tank, I blocked the center console on 6"x6" cribbing blocks in order to get clearance to pop off the lid over the tank. What a difference the extra height of the console. While I replaced the console at its original height, I am molding 6" fiberglass channel that I'll install on the footprint of the console for next season. Looking forward to the extra windshield spray protection and added storage volume.

Yes. I'm not that tall and even with the stock console height I found myself hunched over it. It should be easy to raise the whole assembly as there is adequate slack in the cables, hoses, and wiring. Aso, it will be much easier to service wiring, etc. with everything higher.
