St Pete Boat Show
If you’re going to the show, stop in to the US Spars booth and say Ha. Check this monster out. If you can hang 1000lbs off your transom, this might be for you.

3 425’s X $36,500=$109,500 and 2 627’s from 7 marine = $180,000
Same horsepower almost but $70k less! What a deal!

Let's see, if I raised my transom to 36" ordered a single 425 hp Yamadog with a custom 35" shaft, that way I would have plenty of transom above the water, I think my old clunker would still sit at a 30 degree angle at rest. However the good news is it would drain quickly in a hard rain!!! Oh I forgot, the visibility forward would not be all that great.

Sounds like a great idea Don! "For those who make stern drainage a priority...."

Look at it this way - it wouldn't have to climb up to get up on plane; it would just launch.

Here’s a few who were brave enough. Think the whole bilge is solid foam to float those monsters?
