Pictures of a flat deck in a 20
Hi guys - does anyone have pictures of a flat deck in a 20? With the casting platform/step up/whatever you want to call it removed?
I'm considering restoring a 20 and removing the step. I'm trying to get a feel for the amount of space up front. Thanks in advance. |

Had an 05 20'-flat deck is nice but you have zero storage, and a 20' is already lacking there..if you redo a 20' you will have a small/shallow hatch upfront, there is no depth from deck to bottom of hull and then your tank will limit the length..i now have an 85 because of lack of storage on a flat deck 20..but depending on what you want it for it could work for you.

The casting platform is what I beleve makes this boat a real gem not only can you cast from up forward but where will you stow your anchor

I just picked up a 1969 20' with a flat deck forward, let me see if I can figure out how to post a pic.

Check out "Trayder's 20 on the main web page. The sole is raised 3" and no platform. You don't have to step backwards into the void too many times to appreciate this configuration.
