Oh no!!! A big 4 stroke on a bracket!!! You must be sitting on a sandbar for it to float so high. The CG gods will smite you and sentence you to an eternity of wet feet from scupper overflow....

Congrats she looks great and I bet she flies with that set up. Any numbers yet?

Maybe that is a 30" motor. It sure seems to be sitting up high there. That would explain all the freeboard on the bracket. Due to the good original condition I'll bet the new owner didn't raise the floors. And due to that heavy motor the scuppers probably are at or below the water level. Just put the plugs in and no water. The way the bracket looks I doubt it offers much flotation benefit. Nice looking Sceptre!!

I may be wrong, but, it looks like there is only 1 motor on it now. To be sure that single doesn't outweigh the twins.

I don't know what was done with the sinkwell but if that was removed and closed in with lightweight materials the offset weight could be considerably negated. That and the fact the Sceptre/tsunami layout is more tolerant to stern loading.
In any case it is one of the nicest unmolested potters I've seen. Next to having a time machine to go back and buy a new one it appears to be a dream of a find.
