Default 1978 23 Seacraft CC For Sale- 01/06 Restoration

Fee paid: 0LT59276V52327400

For sale is my 1978 Potter built 23 Superfisherman CC.

Edit: I'm now offering the whole set up for 25k but don't care if it sells, gonna enjoy my boat after all this work. I have installed a 2007 250 etec (with approx 200 hrs) single engine with new 4 blade prop.

The boat had a professionally done, new and raised transom in 2000. The boat was originally yellow with a gray deck until I bought it in 2005/2006...........The hull was properly sanded and prepped and sprayed blue with top of the line 2 part paint, new decals and stainless hull outlets added. The interior was stripped, sanded, etc. primed and painted with bright white Awlgrip. The deck was prepped, primed and painted a light shade of tan / beige awlgrip.

I stripped the many years and layers of bottom paint through sanding and Peel Away. I added several coats of Interlux Inter-Protect epoxy barrier coat. There were no blisters.

All gunwhale and leaning post rod holders were replaced with stainless Pompanette's, (2) additional holders added, including two on the bow. Stainless pull-up cleats, and all teak was replaced with white starboard. No soft spots on decks, wood was glassed in underneath to beef up hatches. Stringers checked out all good.

The boat has Taco outrigger holders and telescoping poles on the T-top. New Taco rubrail with stainless insert all around. A new aluminum 145 gallon gas tank was built and custom installed in 2006. Tank has a brand new mechanical fuel gauge on sending unit just added.

I pulled out every single wire and added all new including panels, switches and batteries. The boat is now equipped with (2) digital I-Command gauges. The boat has Furuno radar, Furuno color 582L FF, Icom VHF, large screen Northstar 957 GPS and black box sounder. Just added a new Jensen Marine stereo with 4 speakers too. It has Sea Star hydraulic steering with a brand new helm, and a performance wheel with suicide knob.

The boat sits on a heavy duty 6,500 ?lb / year 2000? Sea Lion (2) axle trailer that had new clear rollers, hardware, actuator and stainless brake lines in 2008.

A ton of time, effort and cash have gone into this boat, the hull is clean, most components were replaced with new stuff and it is still very nice. I'm certainly leaving several improvements / items out.

The boat is on land in Marmora, NJ which is near Ocean City, NJ. Title is in hand. My number is 609 442 8323, email is [email protected]. I answer calls and texts the best but email will work too. Like I said, I only updated the ad for the heck of it because I was still getting calls. I'll consider selling but I just spent over 15k and worked for three months on the boat and I love it!

I need to eventually update pics.......
Pics 2 and 3 are from 2010 but other than bottom paint color, that how she looks still, as you can see in the current pics.
