Default Key Largo Lobster Sport Season

We watched a parade of boats & cars & trucks & more boats heading south yesterday through Key Largo... almost bumper to bumper.

Where's everyone coming from?

Today we have had high winds (est 30-35 gusts) hard rains & there's small craft warnings.
The "reports" say it will be better Wed & Thurs ... only 5 - 15!

Any CSC members in the keys ... we're having our ususal BBQ this Friday.
Just bring something for the grill & you're favorite beverage. We'll have the rest of the fixins, keeping it simple. (mm 94.5, oceanside, 3 houses N of Snappers Resturant)

If you can make it, please post or send a PM, so I have an approxmiate count.

Hope to see you then!
Carla

You guys missed a GREAT day! Winds calm, seas calm, water very clear....PERFECT!
Left the dock at 7:45 am and by 9am we had gotten our limit!

Tomorrow is another day and we'll be going after them again.

Anybody down here ... Post how your day went.
See ya!

Here's a sample from the Long Key contingent:

Ken,
Sorry you couldn't make it down this year

Skip and Carla,
Sorry we couldn't stay over for the Friday gathering. We made our reservation for next year and pushed it out a day so we can join you if you do it again.

It was good to see you guys and Denny and Sandy on Tuesday at Lorelei. It was also good to meet FlyingTime.

Until next time...
Dave

Dave,
Your boat was the Belle Of The Ball! {these folks came from gainesville}. Insert Yankee embarassment ...here. I got some nice shots of your Seafari. How do I post pics from my new work mandated leash. iphone4.......help...help...help.

Ken, you Patti, and Lil` Kenny were sorely missed.

Skip and Carla were the hosts we know them to be. Just fantastic.

Denny as always loves to teach. I love to learn. My last dive was my favorite allllll time.
Just beautiful and so free. Thank you all.

Still trying to get people excited about fishing over diving,.....but I could be wrong.

Diving in my dreams now,
GFS

Hey Sandy, I'm thinking your phone would look real nice in one of those lobster holes deep in the rocks!! Let them call their lobster friends and warn 'em you are coming....tickle stick, and all!

Warn them Skipper T is on the loose. He cleaned up by 8:45 day one. Cracker Air rules!

I have learned about a nice underwater case 4 the phone. The LED flashlight was a nice treat. The tanks and lines on/off the boat give the same freedom. Really sweet.

Thanks Denny!
GFS
The A team had boat key floaties on their tickle sticks. We just happened upon one and picked up a dropped one.
