Default Maine Wooden Boat show this weekend.

Apparently more private planes fly into the portland airport during the weekend of the wooden boat show (this weekend) than any other, all year.

One of my buddies is doing a diplay: Saltwater Workshop, as he is now going to be selling CNC kits for Tolman Skiffs.

I will be hanging around his booth (have to put in enough volunteer work to not feel guilty about the passes he is getting me!) on Saturday midday. Please stop by and say Hi.

Great show. Jim got set up next to the maritime skiffs, which was fortunate. Folks could compare a 20 Tolman Skiff directly with a 20 maritime. 150 hp versus 70 hp. Dory flare versus flat sides. 800 lbs versus 3000 lbs.

Renn Tolman was there too, which was great. Lot's of good stories.

Jim is now selling CNC Tolman Kit (plus the Tolman Book) and Gloucester Gull Kits:
