Battery Location

I am interested to see if anyone has relocated the batteries on a 23 Sceptre to the "ski locker" located forward of the fuel compartment. I am considering moving the batteries from the stern to this location. Any advice or comments are welcome.

I am relocating my batteries soon, i think i will be putting them in the bait wells at the stern. I will have to do some modifications because there isn't much room in there. May have to cut out the side closest too the gunwal.
