Default Marinium Rub Rail Restoration

I would like to keep the stock rub rail on my Tsunami but it's really in poor shape as far as looks go. Has anyone here successfully restored one. I was considering painting it but I'd really like to here from those who have tried.

Default Re: Marinium Rub Rail Restoration

I've tried painting an old vinyl insert with Krylon Fusion paint for plastics, but not much success (like you, trying to keep it as original as possible). It scuffs off & ended up buying a new one 2 months later.
