Default 20' CC 1970 - 175 HP Yamaha

Well, I have fought this long and hard, but now I have to put my baby up for sale. It is a 1970 CC SeaCraft that was overhauled 2004. The boat is located in Raleigh NC. I tried to be as specific as I can, but if there is additional information needed, please let me know. I am selling the boat and trailer for $10,000, I have over $18,000 invested (yes, I know, not one of my better investments, but the passion was true!).

Hull
Hull ID No. FLZA77350970 – purchased in 2002
Rebuilt in ’04 by Wet Edge Marine - complete overhaul including, cleaned and painted tank, raised console; closed in transom; paint inside and out
Hydraulic Steering installed
Electronics include oil pressure, water pressure, rpm, tilt, 6 fuses, and compass
50 gallon Tank
2 rear bait wells – not in use

Trailer Engine and Jack Plate
175 hp 1996 Yamaha purchased rebuilt from Outboard Motor Connection in ‘04
2 cycle oil pump
About 6-7 gallons per hour
Less than 50 running hours (estimated),
ALL FRESH WATER USE – NOT USED IN SALT WATER SINCE REBUILD
Top end speed about 53 mph with full tank and single occupant
12” vertical displacement Jack Plate purchased from Bob’s Machine Shop

Trailer
2002 Continental Aluminum Trailer
24’ length – 3500lbs GVW

Appraised at $13,400 (’05)

I can send electronic copies of the following information upon serious request:
• Insurance Appraisal completed by Macek Marine Services Inc.
• Title Documentation
• Yamaha engine purchase documentation
• Detail work documentation from Wet Edge Marine

Yes, I made my donation; what a neat web site - THANKS!
Pete

Nice boat Pete.
If it were springtime, I'd drive down and take a look at that one, but I'm not ready yet.
Lets see if I can do this for Andrew:

Good Luck - I mean hold on to it for a few months.

I am trying hard to get the pictures posted so that you do not have to go through Photobucket...but I find myself stumped. Lets try it again.

Regards,
Pete

Thanks, Pat. I got your e-mail with pics. Good looking rig for sure. I have a call into the credit union in hopes I can scratch up the funds.
A few questions:
-Looks like you set it up to be self bailing with those scuppers dumping out the back?
-That back right hatch is the baitwell? Does it have a dump out the side of the boat? Does it have a cat's paw underneath for pick-up? Curious the set up on that?
-Mine sat a little heavy in the rear with a 4 stroke 175 and jack plate. With the scissor jack and enclosed transom, does your's sitt heavy?
thank ya
