Thanks Jon for taking the lead..
I just got off the phone with Long Point. They are booked
solid for March. Mid April is wide open though.
I also asked about clearence under the foot bridge it is 12 ft. As the boat ramp is on the North side.
There are several little Mom & Pop motels close to
Long Point which is just on the north side of Sebastian Inlet. Whatever we do, we need to act quick. I also contacted Jetty Park at Canaveral. The only downside is no in-water dockage for the boats. Peanut Island was discussed, but decided to much of a zoo for us ole'geezers. We are open to suggestions.
We would really like to accomadate our South Florida members
for this gathering. Capt Chuck and I also tossed around a meet in the upper Keys.....
Lets hear it

PS: I have already lined up a bunch of stuff for another
raffle to cover the cost of putting this thing-on.

See ya, Ken

Longpoint is awsome!!!
It offers close access to some great fishing. The only down side, is at times, the no-see'ems will eat the flesh right off your bones. Jetty park can be a zoo, especially on weekends. I haven't been to one of the CSC "group" gatherings, but if your looking for waterside access to a boat, and decent camping/rv spots, you can't beat Longpoint.
If your looking for resonable dockside with a hotel, Dockside in in Ft Pierce is great, and you can usually get a group rate if you call them ahead of time.

I'll be trailering from Western New York State - 1250 miles at 12.5 MPG=100 gallons. That's not as bad as a weekend with the 20.

The JONES should be bad enough by then.

Hey Otto, that beats the crap out of trying to hand dig your way here. See what the snow plow gets for
MPG towing. It may be better.......
See ya in April, Ken
