Ice fishing, anyone?
This is our marina at Sodus Bay, New York, off Lake Ontario. Will the weight of the boat and trailer break through 1" of ice at the ramp or do you just keep backing down until she floats?

Keep backing down. The deep-v hull will punch through the ice if the prop is turning and starts the entry point.
It's the trailers' ability to break the ice on it's own weight when you want to haul out that I'm not completely sure about..... |
