Steve - he never ate the fish but he did giver her a good kiss before releasing ...

We hit a spot off Jamestown with some live buckeys where we had a lot of fun live-linning, BS'n, and talking shop. It was a great time, great company, and a few decent fish to boot. Early Large Bass...

We both had a few runs where the circles didn't circle (their great for drifting baits but not always as effective with live baits) and Jason ended up with a 22+, I had a 24+ and a "rat" 15 pounder.... The bite faded off (as did our live herring supply) but it was a lot of good talk - methods, structure, conditions - real meat & potatoes fishing talk...

Jason - again, thanks for a great trip. I was happy to be part of an adventure which burned the least anount of fuel you have ever used
... Please bare with the colors - I think both our Digi Cameras had wrong color settings going (and we both were taking the pics into the sun - DOH )

Scott - but yer in Jersey, why do you need an excuse to live in Mass? We're just starting to get bigger fish now (still very early) but you guys should be knee deep in them down your way.

Yeah Island beach is starting to warm up ...lots of shorts ....and a fair amount of limit fish....once the word gets out its tough to find a spot on the beach....gets real crowded...weekends its not even worth it to go

Raritan bay I'm sure is all fired up but I fish mainly south of Manasquan Inlet and dont go up to the Hook
