Default 130 HP 1996 Yamaha Saltwater Series

FOR SALE

130 HP 1996 Yamaha Saltwater Series engine
Includes:
Stainless Steel Prop
Multifunction Tach and harness
Remote oil tank with factory metal holder.
Main engine control harness
Shift and throttle cables.

Price is $3,200

I’m selling this because I bought twin engines and I’m only using one of the engines. For sale is the right engine (standard rotation). It’s still in a steel factory shipping crate. Reported to have less than 400 hours on it. Prior to making the purchase last November, I had a Yamaha mechanic check them out. I have the report from the mechanic and reads:
“Compression is 150 +/- 5lbs. Check compression and inspect cylinders, visual inspect steering arm, shift shaft & trim motor. Test run both engines listen for knocks or bearing noise. Both engines run & sound solid. Steering arm, trim motors & shift shafts all in good usable shape.”

I was going to keep this motor for a back up, but the engine I installed is running great, and I really should sell this before it depreciates further.

Nick,

I've got the pictures from the original owner. I can get a few more later of how it is in my garage. Your profile doesn't have email. Email me, and I'll reply

Is this engine still for sale, or does anyone know of one like it? Need a new/good used 25" motor for my 20, 4 cyl. only!

Thanks,
Peter
