Default Canvas

anyone looking for canvas work in the Boston area (north shore) I have a great source (Old Tar Canvas in Gloucester, MA). To see pics of the canvas work I had done, go to:

http://photos.yahoo.com/bluefineric

I can take more pictures and email anyone interested.

She does a fantastic job and sticks with it until you are satisfied with the results. She also does cushions etc.

Hey Otto - thanks - I just got it finished yesterday. I thought about making it a little bigger (it only fits 1-2 people) - but I like be able to walk a rod around the boat and didn't want anything in the way. I usually fish alone anyway....That EZ2CY stuff is incredible, just a little over my budget and you can roll it - so I went with regular plastic (I think they call it Strataglass). The full enclosure cost me $1400 - that is for 1 front panel, 4 side panels and 2 back panels.

Squidrig - I will email you.

Scott - thanks - I can't wait to get the boat on the water - I bought it in October and have been working on it since. Haven't had a chance to try the engine yet - I will probably splash down in 1-2 weeks.... I heard the cod fishing on middlebank is pretty good right now.

Eric,

Nice boat, nice canvas! What did that full enclosure cost you?

Did you consider dropping the curtains to the inside of the gunnel?

I saw this at the Annapolis show last fall. I think it's EZ2CY. Pretty cool, but it's either on or it's off.

Otto

Eric,
Sweet looking boat! That full enclosure must be nice to have. How do you like the Merc?

Looks awesome brother. Can't wait to come up and fish with you. I did Strataglasss on sides and solid EZ2CY on the front panel.

Thanks Bri - yah - getting excited for fishing this year....i think it is going to be a little later than normal - the water is still cold up here...hopefully, the herring show up. They have been dragging the hell out of them up here - mid water trawlers have been pounding them. there are 2-3 150+ footers in port for about 6 months....not a good sign.

anyway - we'll see what happens - I don't think it is going to get good until 3rd week in July.

By the way - send some pics of your boat when you get a chance.
