Default Checking in on all my SeaCraft friends...

Haven't been on the site in sometime and just wanted to say hey to everybody. Its been a ruff year or two with everything going on in the world. As if the covid was/is not bad enough my Grandmother had cancer and was told all was removed just to find out 4 months latter she would light the screen up like a Christmas tree. One spot removed showed back up and spread everywhere. We lost her then my Mother in law was on the ventilator for 6 weeks and almost died. She came off and recovered about a month ago praise the lord. We were told 4 weeks in she would not make it and no one that had been put on the vent with the delta variant has made it yet. God blessed us and she was the first to survive the delta variant after being removed off the ventilator. She was the first to survive and recover out of all the Carolina east hospital facilities here in NC we were told. One week after that we lost a friend that owned a local tackle shop that was only like 34. He was in the covid ward with her mother but he was not as lucky. Then a week or two after this I found out that my bio-father has 22 brain tumors. He lost function of his arm and went to see the doctor to find out this and now has 3 months to live. Been a ruff year. I haven't had no time to work on any of my SeaCraft project hulls but have enjoyed the one that is running doing a little fishing when I can to free my mind. Look forward to getting back on CSC and getting going on some boat projects this spring. I miss lurking on the site. Hope all is well with all the folks up here and have a Merry Christmas and stay safe out there....

So sorry to hear brother. So much pain and suffering. Everyone’s is real and isolating. I hate cancer. I’ve lost many loved ones to it around the holidays too.

Hope you will be able to heal and honor them as you try to move on to more fun things. Glad to hear about your mother in law. That is really great news. Your loved ones would want you to be happy and enjoy your life. But it’s ok to miss them too.

Wishing you and all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
