Default For Sale '78 SuperFish

Paypal Transaction ID: 3AL59910Y09684018

1978 Potter 18' Center Console
Low hrs Evinrude 115hp Saltwater Series FICHT
Transom has been re-done
Stryker T-Top

One month ago my baby did a partial submerge. I was able to save her after being under for just about 1 hour. Bilge pump failure during a total and epic downpour, with the plugs in the scuppers to boot.

The motor was running stronger than ever later that afternoon, with a new starter, new solenoid, 2 new Intertsate batteries, new battery cables, new disconnect, and 2 changes of spark plugs. Complete flush of the fuel tank and fuel system as well as the oil lines. New sending unit. Fuel, volt, tach gauges all now function correctly

I have not put 12 volts to the accessories. There is a bow light, nav light, stern light, spreader lights aft, LED lights under the gunnels. Most of the above was wired with tinned wire, and may be salvageable after replacing the switches and ends.

The GPS, vhf, stereo and speakers are I'm sure toast. I am not in a position to do the rewire as simple as it may be, so have been using the boat daily with just the new bilge pump wire directly to the batteries.

Sadly, the boat is now for sale. I have put $3k into her this August and she is running like a champ, and is arguably one of the cleanest and nicest looking vessels from1978, but of course I am partial.

Easy to sea-trial. Comes on 100% roadworthy Karavan trailer, with all paperwork in my name.

$8500 or best offer. Cash talks, and like I said, she's a must sell.

Hey saltworth, I'm interested in the boat. What's the best way to contact you?

Interested in the splashwell if she's here this winter. pm's answered and the total hours are 198, so yes that's low. I also have a hard copy of the engine report from when it was plugged into the computer.

No current engine faults.

Pics in ad are from August 27 despite last years registration sticker.

Bumping this with an emphasis on the best offer- I really don't want to store her this winter.
