Most do not know how much thought Mel and I put into going with Todd's 27 instead of the full rebuild we did on our Tsunami. The tipping point for us really came down to traveling with a bigger boat. Mel and I enjoy going to the different gathering locations so much that we couldn't rationalize having buy a second motor, and bigger truck to make that possible. If I was 10 years younger and wasn't so focused on only going on nice days it would have gone the other direction. Bottom line is the Tsunami is such good traveling size and amply powered by one motor that we just didn't want to gamble as we were so happy with the Tsunami prior to the restoration. Some days I regret it as Todd's 27 is truly a dream boat but overall we are dreaming pretty good with our ol sled.

Default Moose and Mel's Project

As we missed the latest Hommasassa gathering, looking forward to seeing your Tsunami 27' at Fort Pierce. Regards to the admiral!

Six months before I bought my 27' Tournament from the original owner on the Cape, I too looked at Todd's 27' in his barn in Florida. It is a very well thought out project and nicely done.
