Default HDS12 flush mount?

Hi All,

Since I am rewiring the boat I am also upgrading electronics. I purchased an HDS12 touch screen and 3G radar and I am thinking about flush mounting the HDS. What do you think? I am a little concerned because the screen won't be straight on from the steering wheel (the steering wheel is on the right side of the console). It is a big hole and I don't want to make a mistake. Any opinions?

As long as you are ok operating it with your left hand I say go for it. I personally cannot stand bracket mounted electronics.

I need my hands on my plotter too much not to have it bail mounted as close to my working hand as possible. That and there aint no way I'm leaving my high end plotter full of invaluable numbers on my boat unless I'm in it.
