Those big seniors make a great mantel show piece, the old American made spin fishers are good too. I still use my 750's & 950's spinfishers currently. The Chinese models are just not as tough.

The old us steel is becoming collectable and for good reason. Some Cals grease on the ht 100 drags and they are smooth. They cant pull the drag of a Stella, but how much drag can a person pull. Try and lift a cinder block with a 7 ft rod.

The Stella also has about a million parts.

My old lady got me a Penn Torque 9 spinning reel for Christmas, It is all billet machined aluminum and 100% American made. Cool thing is the drag... it has a max drag of 41 lbs! Way more than I need but if I want to free jig some Blue fin I can. I mainly use my old slammer series with the ht-100 drags, they were the last usa built slammer models prior to being made in china. I have some of the new spinfisher 5's and they aint bad for what they are but made in china stickers on them.
