Default Got some new toys last week !!!

Been after my Uncle to sell these to me for YEARS !!! He got in touch last week home and told me to come buy and pick them up.... He called them antiques !!! I call them JEWELS !!!!! He told me to come get them out of his way !!! told me for years he'd leave them to me in his will.... HE decided to go ahead and give them too me !!! I'm not sure if i was happier about my new upcomming job or the reels !!!!!! Set of 4 Penn International 12t's.. they are in GOOD shape and i will clean them up for now .. the plan is to send them to Cals in califorina for 2 speed conversion and blueprinting.... set up for 30 # braid with a short top shot...

Gilly ... I am looking for a couple 16s also if you come across some out there let me know... Since they are built out there maybe they are more common.... not many people over here have heard of Cals shop... and if you compare them to a factory 2 speed the cals conversion to me is the better of the 2... Cal uses the old drag plate size which is larger than the newer 2 speed... and if we're talking brakes "bigger is better" in my opinion ... not to mention the blueprinting to MY specs...

Are those Chaos rods? Nice score. I was at a church sale last year and got an ole 30 for 100 and the rare 12 for 75 clams. The 12 is the one they made only in `79-`80. 3,000 total made and I got the rare 12H which is hi speed @ 4.75-1. The clicker is a bit gimpy...Cal got a fix?
