I've been to most of our Fl. gatherings beginning with Anclote Key in 2007 and this was undoubtedly one of the best! Good times, great people and good food indeed! Getting to ride in a couple of rare 25' Seafari's in sloppy seas was a special bonus! Riding in that boat at 20-25 kts thru 4-6' seas felt about like 1-2' seas do in my 20 footer! I believe it's the Ferrari or the F-16 of the SeaCraft fleet! And Connor is well qualified to give the flying lessons!

You quickly forget, very quickly, that deep vee hulls tend to wander at low speed, lean a little more in the turns, etc. when you see how well the 25 Seafari splits through larger waves. Nothing like it, no heads flopping back and forth like a rag dolls or the up and down shuddering absorbed by the passenger's knees, just nice big spray of water and out the other side of the wave they go!

Anybody got any opinion on this and/or why they do that?

Hauling azzz in a following sea? VDH burping when run at the proppper speed? The air is what softens the landing. It took me a few rides to understand that these hulls like to get on top and run. Small 20 here.
