Default CC bluefin

Got my first Bluefin this weekend. Well, actually the second if you count the one that broke off just before this one, and took my rig with it.

44in fish, probly 75lb dressed, TONS of steaks.

Tossed it, some great white had it for dinner that evening I am sure (along with the first one from that day) DOH!
Ill tack up the tail on the barn, hope to be just one of the many!

Nice!! Bluefin within sight of the beach gotta love that. Last year in the winter Dec, Jan we had an unprecedented Giant bluefin bite within a mile of the beach. It was an amazing sight to behold it lasted at least 6 weeks , giant bluefin mixed in and eating the stripers. Sure do hope it happens again this year, i will have an 80 wide (at least) ready this year. Hope you have a great season wildman.

Pat, Nice fish and a short run. Way to christen the SC!! We've been pulling fish from 4-8pm from the cut to Nauset in close as well. Enjoy, Steve

Yea cant beat burning a whole 17gal on a tuna day! How often does that happen!?! I wanna get back out there again this week, not sure if the wind is going to let that happen or not.
