I spent about 6 months wondering how to make a ladder to access the bow, until I realized that I hardly ever have to do that.
Went to a camping store near my house and bought a folding step stool that folds to about 2-1/2 inches flat and easily stows away in the cuddy against the port side bulkhead with a piece of shock cord holding it tight.
It easily holds 300 lbs and has rubber feet so it's very non slip.It cost me about ten bucks.
Works good for my use.We troll only and never anchor up so the only time I ever need to get up on the deck is in some tricky weather docking conditions.

PS: I bought a taller version of the exact stool, don't remember the height, but it makes access to the bow fairly easy.

If I buy the boat, as I'm waiting for the motors to be removed to inspect the transom better I would love to have it - do you think you could be any further away though

I anchor at the islands all the time so its mandatory - or I will lose my anchor bitch

still would be worth the shippng - If I don't need it somebody sure will.
