The start of a '98 23 clean-up...
I have Lonnie Gordon's '98 SeaCraft 23 CC at the house right now, I guess she would be a BPS boat. Anyway, the console is a mess, as well as the bilge. So, first things first, had to vacate the console of the water tank, two batts, the oil tank, and the trim tab pump...
Got to get her cleaned up first...I have to work in there! |

Re: The start of a '98 23 clean-up...
I don't envy you there, I spent 4 days with half my body shoved in the tackle storage hole last spring doing mine. not a very fun time.
maybe an idea. I epoxied some oak blocks to the inside of the console above the side doors. it gave me space to put up hangers for some of the equipment wires I had in the space, moved most of them to secure to the sides and freed up a lot of space in the middle of the console and not at all cluttered. |

It always amazes me how wiring get so out of control.

Re: The start of a '98 23 clean-up...
She came out pretty nice...
Relocation of the fresh water tank forward in the center storage compartment really helped the console access, and it wasn't that hard to plumb... Next up? '84 Mako 224...Ain't life grand??? |
