I used Interlux brand - Compound "Intergrip" no skid compound. formula/model # 2398c. I got it at West Marine. It comes in a 8 oz can. Very pleased with the texture and durability, so far. Not too hard too clean either.

You can go to Shermin Williams Industrial coatings stores and get a plastic blue tape in different widths. I have used the 3M brand and their off brand with good results. If you want some non-skid send me a pm and I will send you some Interlux as I have a bunch left over. It goes along way - I used Signature Finish when I redid the decks on my 23.

Are you happy with the results of signature finish on the floor?

Yes, I bought a can of white, took it and a hatch to the local Sherwin Williams paint store and matched it. Cannot tell a difference between the floor and the rest of the boat and it is holding up very well. I taped everything off, applied it heavily with a brush and then used one of Tom's special loop rollers to roll it out.

Now that's a very good idea! I'll do that next time.

Hey, Rob,
That makes twice now you've come out of lurker mode. If I've got any money left after Kay Kay's wedding next month, I may have it launched by next boy's trip. Progress is slow but steady.
Dave

Hey Dave,

Just admiring your work...Denny was telling me the other day that you posted a few new pictures. I had to take a look. I'm sure you will fiqure out how to finish in time and within budget for the summer trip...the challenge may be finding a vehicle to pull it down ..I havent been yet but the snook are a pretty steady catch in the port the last few weeks. I hope to give it a try soon. take care Rob
