Default Funny Craigslist Ad

web page

This is my favorite line- "I installed dynamat in the cowl (hood) of the motor to drown out the knocking sound when it's out of oil so you can fish and not be annoyed by the knocking sound"

Any takers?

I copied it in case he came to his senses, or if somehow the motor sold;

2002 yamaha 115 fourstroke. It needs minor little work and could be as good as new. The head had a crack in it but was repaired with J.B. weld by myself. I think the head mayne cracked because I would always run out of oil every other trip, And usually the oil alarm would go on and the motor would smoke and cut out. But if you let it sit it would be good after 30 min or so then do it again.I installed dynamat in the cowl (hood) of the motor to drown out the knocking sound when it's out of oil so you can fish and not be annoyed by the knocking sound. I know it needs a new fuel pump, And oil pump. The plug wires are worn and rusty, The trim pump works but you need to add a few ounces of oil to it every day. The compression from cylinder 1-4 is as follows 1 (49psi) 2 (95psi) 3 (105psi) 4 (67psi). I havn't priced the repairs but I can't see it going over $175-$225. PRICED FOR QUICK SALE AT $3000!!!!! email me [email protected]
