Default 3 blade or 4 blade prop?

After much help from Father Frank,(thanks again)and his recommendations for prop size,I have a chance to get two props for a very reasonable price.
One is a 4 blade Alpha,and the other is a 3 blade.

What is the advantage or disadvantage of one over the other? Both of these are 15 X 16 aluminums, and they will be used on my 74 Tsunami with a Mercruiser 350 250hp I/O.

Thanks guys

Default Re: 3 blade or 4 blade prop?

Better handling w' 4 blade, & more effective stern lift.
