I agree on the 17 as to RPM but you should be able to find a Merc prop you don't have to rehub.

ESD, I concur - I should be able to find an appropriate Merc prop and I would think they are everywhere. There has to be a ton out there. But where? Somebody's hoarding these things
Got an old stainless Black Max prop in a 13 x 17 configuration? Let me know... based on Fr. Frank's words of wisdom I'm seeking just that, or something similar with stern-lifting characteristics. I've been looking for compatible used stuff 'cause the budget's pretty tight. Seems everything I'm seeing is an Apollo or Vengeance. Seems a semi-cleaver cut like those Power Tech SCD props would be perfect for the app but really, I don't know squat about props... I'm not even sure what Mercs version of that would be? Any thoughts? Thanks. I'll keep searching.
