1978 23' sceptre limber holes
i had the above boat reconditioned last spring. the marina did not place any limber holes in the port or starboard stringers. therefore, bilge water could not migrate between bilge compartments. this caused the boat to list to one side and take on water. we are trying to settle with the insurance company. can anyone email pictures of the limber hole configuration, or any documentation that the limber holes existed prior to the reconditioning of the boat? many thanks and kindest regards-eric ()

I think Scott is your limber hole guy... That doesn't sound right, but I couldn't resist. He has some images.

Re: 1978 23' sceptre limber holes
I'm not aware of any holes to drain water. I added this to my 20 sceptre during the transom repair.

That's a pet pieve with me. I can't stand for any water laying in the bildge. Shame on them for a half ass install.
