Default SeaStar Pro Helm

Can I use regular SeaStar hoses with this helm safely? SeaStar naturally recommends Pro hoses. Anyone using this helm? Bought one for my 23 rebuild without doing my homework first. I’m putting a Suzuki 225 on the end.

They use the later model hoses with captive o-rings so if your lines are less than 10 years old they will likely work. I see no difference in the pro model helms

The 20’ hoses that came off my WA are more than long enough to reach the engine. I imagine the same would be true for your model. However, might want to measure just to be sure.
