Default First year 20 MA was offered?

I know this has been answered somewhere but after not finding it with a quick search I thought I’d just ask it again. What was the first year that the 20 MA was offered?

I am sure there is a good story behind this model.

Once upon a time I owned a old 4 stringer (pre-72) 20 seacraft that had a 20 MA cap. It was outfitted with bait boxes off the transom, teak spray rails, and came from Key west.

Cool response Bigs! I had never seen that info. Not to derail, but do I have to contact Jason to get my sig back from previous site? My “one of 56” Haha 79 MA and my brothers 88 ‘18 on a sandbar.
