1979. 18. Rebuild.. getting there
Found my 79 18ft seacraft on Craigslist a few months ago. Completely rotted out floors and transom. 300$ and a few packs of venison hamburger. She was myn. IT LITERALLY HAD A CRACK PIPE LAYING IN THE FLOOR WHEN I PICKED IT UP
So I gutted completely and took it to Bobby gilken @ G-Crafts marine in awendaw sc. I'm not a crafty person so paying to get the restore done . I decided to close the transom and go with a bracket. No if and or butts. BRACKET!!!! that being said I decided to raise the stringers and floor a total of 3 inches. So that self bailing would not be an issue with all composit material through out. Bought a console out of a Carolina skiff that is going to be awesome. Here are some pictures of the restoration in progress. If you have any questions about the build text me or reply to thread. I am not on here often. 843 593 6177 |

Been looking at the specs, specifically the weight of the yammy 115. I've begun de-rigging mine for the transom replacement. Planning on using the coosa. However, my Suzuki is still running great, so, repowering will be down the road, if ever.
