Default 23' TSUNAMI--Need bimini top height measurement for windshield frame Bimini top mount

Looking at mounting a new bimini top to my windshield frame.... need help with height of bimini top for my 23' Tsunami...seems that 36" tall would be too high????
Thanks,
Fred

fdheld34,

I have a 23' Sceptre and will try and get a measurement tomorrow for you. I used to have a bimini before going to a half-tower/hardtop and think 36" from top of windshield frame to bimini would be excessive. Happy New Year.

Not sure what measurement you are looking for, but figure that the Bimini should be about 4-6 inches higher above the deck than the tallest passenger. That should provide a gap above the windshield of around 1-2 feet.

I was looking to put Bimini mounting point on top of side windshield frames..If I go 4-6 inches I am looking at 24-26" ht for a Bimini top...I cannot locate Bimini top that is 26" ht so I might have to look into getting one custom made.
Thanks for the info!
-Fred

My Hardtop is 77" (6'-5") off the deck/floor. It is 19" above the front windshield center glass frame. See below pics. I like the height.

Thanks,

your bimini will mount at the center of the length of the top so know how much fore to aft coverage you want?
measure how high the window mount position will be above the deck , then how tall do you want top?
