Jupiter, Fl Fishing Advice
I will be down at Jupiter from the 15th through the 20th. Any good headboat or charter boat recommendations? Also, what species is the target catch right now?

Re: Jupiter, Fl Fishing Advice
Hey, Florida boys (yes, you Capt. Chuck and your cronies),
How come no one is giving me any Fl. fishing advice??? I bet if Spidercrab lived near by, he would be giving me great fishing hole information. If you asked us Northeast guys for local fishing advice, we would give you tons of information (some of it real, and what we don't know we would make up). Please don't make me hunt the web and Fl. yellow pages for boats. Thanks, Peter

Peter
I am leaving for the West Coast to fish on the 18th and return the 23rd. Call me when you get here on the 15th and I'll give you some pointers. There is some real nice inshore action taken place right now. Try a PM to CSC member "Jigolo". He lives in Jupiter and can get you right with the best boat etc.

Re: Jupiter, Fl Fishing Advice
We went out last Friday out of Miami and had one Sailfish on and got about 10 Dolphin also got one Mackerel. Kind of a so so day but was 4-6 ft and we were limited in what we could do because of the weather. Can’t say much about who to talk to in Jupiter you will need to wait for Chuck to get back to you on that.

Re: Jupiter, Fl Fishing Advice
Well guys, my son and I took three half day charters on the Samana. $70 per head for a four hour trip. The boat is located right at the Jupiter inlet and only about a 20 to 25 minute ride the fishing grounds (65 feet to 140 feet of water).
We caught a little of everything inlcuding, mutton snapper, yellow tail snapper, porgies, grouper, ocean bonito, king makeral, dolphin and misc garbage fish. The bonito are the same fish that we call false ablacore up north. The only difference is that our fish run about 5 to 10 pounds where we caught some in Jupiter that were over 25 pounds. They were a pisser to catch. Also, we caught these fish called blue runners (do I have that right Florida boys?) and there some big bull sharks under them. Several times the bull sharks would grab your fish as you were bringing them in. All in all, it was a fun time. Peter
