bleach in the trash cans keeps the stray dogs away maybe it'll work for the coon's too.

A friend of mine used one of those Have-a-hearts to get rid of a nasty cat he had under his barn. Once the cat was in there he threw it off his dock and went to lunch. Then came back to get the trap back. Now thats heart.

My dad is a furrier and my grandfather was before him. There are 3 ways - snare, leg trap, and box trap. The better trappers often use box traps as it does not injure them (at least not unless you choose to). Critters have been known to chew their own legs off to get out of leg traps. Oh, and there are lots of people around here that like to eat coon (though I am not one of them). The meat is actually worth more than the hide right now. Anyway, dad sells snares and leg traps. Box traps you can make yourself.
