Hey Otto,How ya doin! I dont know what the 4 boat theory is.... missed that thread. Someone better explain it to me, I feel like i'm out of the 4 boat theory loop!...... 1 runabout, 1 23 Seacraft fishing machine, 1 26' regulator for offshore fishing, 1 32' family trawler. Am I close! Marc

This is a production boat, and there are not to many around. I have a 1988 and she is a great boat. The cuddy is nice for locking thing up and resting on a long day. I will be adding a hard top one day and I will give you a call.

Tony- I have noticed the 23' walk a few times on Boat Trader and it they look great. The prices are much lower than a CC, which is nice. How long have you owned your boat and what added value does the "walk" give you. I like the idea of some shelter, being off shore 70 miles or so [img]images/icons/grin.gif[/img] .

Thank for the info Tony. I like the lines of the 23' WA. It seems that you have more flexibility with your setup on a long trip. What is your power setup?

Snookerd, I made a mistake in the year its a 1986 with 1988 twin Mariner 135's. I also have trim tabs and they help get the bow down with the extra weight on the stern with the twins.

I saw one about 12 days ago in the Florida Keys looks like they have just enough room up front to put some extra stuff in and it would be easier to get to the bow. I like the CC best.

Its just a matter of preference. I fished a 1979 23cc that a friend ownes and the performance is the same, except on my boat there is more fishing room in the stern, and I can still fish around the boat if need be. Like I said Its just a matter of preference.

Good one! I believe in the one boat theory too. It's kinda ironic that you'll put more hours on one boat that all 4 put together. Trust me, I know...
