Very good Danny!!! Nice to hear Brian is accomplishing positive repairs to his boat, versus just hanging around drinking beer at the Palmetto Rehab garage!

It would be nice if Brian posted a picture once in a while!

Is there a safe place to leave a truck and trailer for a couple (or 3) days?

Yes, there is parking within the park, near the ramp, within a couple hundred yards of most campsites. I launched and parked my trailer there, but didn't have a campsite; just camped on the boat, anchored in shallow water off of an old concrete ramp on the south point. Dropped a bow anchor in deeper water and stern anchor in shallow water so I could pull boat in to get off and join the festivities during the day but haul out to deeper water overnight. Denny

The Park Ranger I talked to said parking for trailers is NOT an issue. Soooo.....just for grins went to Google Earth for a look see and I know now what he's talking about, lots of room.

Next question, how far is the nearest store?? No way I can come over there without forgetting something.

Don-That should be covered by the store right outside of the camp ground! The campground is secluded but has a decent little quick stop store next door. Walmart is 20-25 min away.

Snookered, how's this for a picture? It's either an appetizer from Bonefish Grill or..........
Make sure you're more specific on "what" type of picture you are requesting.
