Now that I have completed my fiberglass work for the fall on my Sceptre/Savage restoration project, I'm headed into my shop for a month or so before it get too cold to work in there. So............
Does anybody need a teak louvered door(s) for their: Sceptre or Savage or SeaFari??????????? The wood shop is now open for the fall session.

**STARBOARD** Louvered cabin doors...
I'm come up with a "new" version of the Louvered Cabin door using PVC/Starboard. It will never rot or degrade and is basically maintainence free. Same mechanical joint (Dovetail Joint) as the originals except I've added internal SST screws for more durability. I just finished the first one, and it came out great! On sale for $395 (regularly $465). Fits 23' Sceptres and Savages.

Action Shot
Well I went ahead and trial fitted the STARBOARD Louvered cabin door today. Fit perfect and it is very clean & contemporary looking.
And the great part is it's virtualy Maintenance free!! No oiling & cleaning, varnishing, or degradation by the sun. Also the louvers keep air moving from the cabin (just like the originals) to maximize ventilation and minimize moisture and mildew in the cabin...

These look very nice. I have a newer door but am in need of a replacement for the original teak frame the door fits into. Have you fabricated any of those? Thanks, Steve

Yep,
I had to replace one of my teak door jambs too. (Port side) It's a complicated piece, but I can do it...

OK... PM what you think it would cost. If you're up for it. I'd need the assembly for both sides. Thanks, Steve
