As for power you can get a pair of 250 - 300's for about $30K to less than $40K brand new. Or there are some non current models out there to for less, or even a set of one to two year old used motors for even less. I think you could find a good one or two year old used set around $20k. Let me know if there is any more info you need.

I had a quote for a pair of 275 Verados Brand new in the crates for $22K plus $5k for all the rigging. They were 2006 left overs and it was a year ago. There are deals out there if you do your homework.

I spoke to Will at Bayside last week. He gave me a rough quote to complete the plubming, wiring, and console install for $3k in labor and my guesstimate for parts would be $2K (probably real high for the parts because I have a lot of them in my barn already). All the parts I have would be included with the sale to.

one of the best places to find used big motors is through the ska magazine or website (southern kingfish association). a lot of the guys are sponsored and get new twins every year. granted, these are tournament fished motors, but there are ridiculous deals to be had sometimes.
oh, and that boat looks insane. beautiful work all around.

Anyone even remotely considering buying a used SKA-fished motor owes it to themselves to go see the start of just ONE SKA tournament day. Just one.

A boat as nice as the one being listed here should get a nice pair on the back, not a couple of blown out tourney engines.
