You got that right brother..................Duane-Question for you--You got those turbo fins on your LU's??
Shoot Danny..... If you had to take Diane's brother "Tiny"
(Scott) with you when you went fishing you would need them too....
Uh oh... I hope Tiny does not read this one.

Have not yet been to a "gathering", however Ft. Desoto is just across the bay and I would come by boat from my house in Apollo Beach. The hell with $4 gas.

Don-
You will not regret it............This is a mellow group that has a SC addiction and looks for an excuse to do what we enjoy...relaxing and being around the water on our boats. Besides, Briguy and I need an additional Potter 23SF to be present from Tampa Bay.

I really do think the Fort is a good option, good roads all the way - showers, bathrooms and electric. It also allows the guys south of tampa bay easier access. This time maybe set up an outpost on the beach at the mouth of Bounces Pass. Camping on an island is alot of work for a couple days but an outpost would work.

Dixon, what do you mean by an "outpost"?

Fr. Frank-I think Dixon is describing a place where the Motley Crew can get away to.........some island seclusion for part of the day without all the work and barebones amenities of actually camping there........

I just checked out Desoto for Oct/Nov
The water front sites that we had last year are
already taken..
Ft Desoto

We may have to wait for December to open up as they
only allow 6 months in advance.
