Re: article on Carl Moesly and early SeaCraft History
Wow that is a great read, I did not realize all that Carl Moesly did in regards to the design phase of the boat building industry and with SeaCraft’s. Now it makes me wonder how did we get from there to now with Tracker??? Maybe we could see another turnaround for the company like Harley has seen in choppers.

Re: article on Carl Moesly and early SeaCraft History
Do we know if anyone has one of these original 21's? Or if any are still around? That would be cool!
Otto you thinking what I'm thinking?......

Re: article on Carl Moesly and early SeaCraft History
The Seavette may be the closest boat to a racer left, but it's a Potter design. I'm sure there has to be one out there somewhere. BTW- what is a Scamper 15,Seaquarius 20 and a Seavilla 27.-PF

Re: article on Carl Moesly and early SeaCraft History
A scamper came up on ebay a couple of years ago. It's a first generation tri-hull, and I thought it couldn't possibly be a Sea Craft....

Re: article on Carl Moesly and early SeaCraft History
I'm waiting for the mag to arrive. Can't wait.
Fellow Ship - The only way SeaCraft will ever make a comeback is if WE buy the company and get Potter on board as a consultant. Finster - I knew Carl Moesly and a SeaVette is no Moesley...

Thanks Ryan, Buzz and Trayder for sharing . . . What a great story.
Anyone know why he's living so far away from the ocean (Western North Carolina??) |

Alot of Florida natives are retiring to the mountains in N. Carolina. Florida isn't what it used to be, and I don't blame them.

Re: article on Carl Moesly and early SeaCraft History
Fantastic story. I recently ordered a subscription and am waiting for the first issue to arrive.
Otto - great minds think alike. Been thinking of ways to raise the capital and buy Seacraft from Tracker. Ed |
