I like the Capt's full enclosure better but at least I don't have to run lights and this was super cheap/easy for me since I already had everything from dealing with horses. Zero chance of resin work outside of my garage til about late May. So far I haven't had to shovel the cockpit.

I recognize the VDH form on the boat but what is that white stuff all over the place? And that are those grey lumps off in the distance.

Looks like your on your way Capt. !!
I mean to more footage of the white stuff..

Yeah Vezo, that's a 15 Whaler Sport and a Kubota tractor
out in the cold with the SeaCraft snuggled in it's enclosure..

I know that being a Florida cracker would make me want to string up
a rope after about two months of that..

I tried the party tent route but took it down before I could try heating it. I bought a 16X30ft party tent on craigslist, set it up, and the next day we had 40mph winds and things were getting hairy, some of the legs of the tent were getting airborne. I had it tied to the boat and tried to anchor it but where the tent is it's exposed on two sides and neighbors on the other. I could hear the tent flapping all night and was worried it would rip or the neighbors would file a petition to kick me out! So I took down the tent portion and took out some of the aluminum poles and shortened it to maybe 16X20, currently just the frame around the boat. When glass work needs to start I plan on tarping the whole thing for the weekend as long as winds aren't bad and putting a propane heater in an seeing what temps I can maintain.

I know with fast set epoxy I think as advertised you can work down to 50F. Polyester resin I beleive you need to be at 70F but you can always mix more catalyst. When I set up the tarp I will let you know what kind of temps I can get it to.

Commercial cap that is one nice shelter! You don't think a propane heater could get things hot and dry in their if you needed to? I guess with your ambient temps so low it would take too many BTU's.

We used to use a insulated military surplus tent to hunt in sub-zero temps. Might check out some of these - https://www.rddusa.com/product-category/military-tents
