I have to say that the members here are great. Rod saw my post of the sail boat and a part I was missing and offered to send me the tiller for just the shipping costs. I received it today and boy was it nice and fit perfectly

Default G3's were a target of mine for years!

A G3 with a 60 - 75 hp on the back would FLY in those days! Always wanted one, but as a ski boat it was tough because on a slalom you could pull it out unless there was enough hp.

I had a 1962 Barracuda speedboat, 13' long. Had a old corvette looking windshield. I hung a new Johnson 60hp with tilt & trim. Couldn't get the speedo working so had a guy in a bass boat come along side and said he would give me some speeds. We tooled along and he gave me some speeds and then I let it go until I got scared! He said when I let out of it I was doing 63 mph....at 2/3 throttle! Years later I put a small shaft 50 on it and actually used it a lot. I love old boats, cars and trucks!
