I wouldn't say I stole them but I got them for a very reasonable price with what came with them. Now the Pair of Sport Master lowers- I stole them. I could sell one for more than what I paid for the matched pair easily. I also got a pair of 260 race offshore mids, a ridgeback offshore mid off of a Bridgeport, 5 single ram racing clamps, pair of light weight fly wheels, and aftermarket programmable brucato ECU units. The motors had Brucato SVS intakes on them as well. He also has other parts I want to get too, a nice polished alternator bracket kits to do away with the stator charging system, lanthum steering plates/rams/bracket, and some nice hard to find exhaust tuners from the promax 15" ss motors. The tuners are bell tunners just like the 280 and 300 race motors but shorter and devolved for the promax ss model. Starting to have enough stuff to get her back together far as power goes. I still have two 2.5 high port blocks with 7 petal type fronts for the racing reed blocks and some of the stuff to build them also, I may just stick them on my 25 seafari if I can get them built one day. If I did that I could take my 200's and move them over on to my 23' hull. I have a twin aluminum large floatation bracket for it that I have been working on. The race hull should fly. Shooting for 70 mph +

Mark Hauptner of Ocean Master raced from Haulover to KW with Carl in 67. Trip Merc 110`s. They set a new outboard record of 62 overall. Mark said it was 2-4 and they lost a motah in the lower keys. So figure 300 hp at the props and 3 lowers for most of the race. |
