My brother and I used the Arjay product. No shrinkage. Remember what makes this stuff work is it's sandwiched between two layers of glass....the transom's outer and inner skin.....and it bonds them together, forever. In hindsight there are a few things I would do differently, however I'm very confident with my transom job.

Low shrinkage and 8000 psi is great. How well does it bond to other matrials, fiberglass, wood, etc. Does it have a good bonding strength?

I have a '74 20'cc.

Has anyone drilled smallish holes through top of transom and poured resin into transom with any success?

I have some flex in transom, but how much flex is too much? The transom well is still intact.

I'm looking to postpone a full transom redo until my other projects are finished.

Would your product be usefull for this ?

It bonds like "shit to a blanket" it is a urethane and urethanes have great adhesive qualities.

yes the product would work for this but you will have to still dig out all of the rotten wood core, or all of the wood core. With any system, nothing can restore the rotted wood. the wood is rotten because of water infiltration, nothing can displace the water/moisture, as the wood as already absorbed the water.
