I am sure that some of us Jersey guys could come over and put on a fishing clinic for you.

Can I bring my own slab.. I have a great hole which gives up a few 30"+ mats every year... lol sounds like fun just got to see how the summer plays out.

Don't you love those holes
They seem to produce year after year. Up here there are some that get passed down generation to generation. Now that the Fluke are on the comeback those old spots are even better.

Sounds like we need to have a neutral spot around the sound (as though there is such a place).

All kidding aside, if I can swing it I would love to do it.

Aside from Oldfielder, its seems we have more NJ and RI guys stepping up to the challenge than LIS. Where is everybody............... Bottom bumping for Fluke must not be glamourous enough.

Finster, we could do a home and home series. First trip up north and then we could do a summer LBI/Little Egg Harbor rematch.

Yes, it is in fun.

On a related matter we are already getting consistant reports of striped bass being caught on both worms and clams at Union Beach, NJ. This is in the western portion of Raritan Bay, NJ. It is a shallow sod back area, and is usually the first place in central NJ to start producing.

I plan on putting on rig in the water on April 1, and going winter flounder & bass fishing. We will see.
