Is this invite extended to NJ SeaCrft owners or should I be looking elsewhere?

But there is a few of us who are going to Jazz fest this year in Newport.

Alright, it looks like we have some interest for "Flukin in June" as coined by PickledRick. Jim's suggestion of June 4 looks good from here, who knows what will happen as we get closer to the date. I need ideas from you guys. Where should we meet, my house, Long Sand Shoal, Duck Island, change of venue, whatever? Should we compete for biggest doormat with a couple of bucks from each boat or just fish and enjoy ourselves? Any ideas or suggestions from you guys would be great.

Hey Brian, As long as your schedule is good in June, lets go for it. As far as my boat, I'll probably launch at the closest ramp to you and follow any leads to the nearest school of fish. Is that a public ramp? We can pick a working frequency on VHF and monitor our guys as they come and go. Good idea to have a cell phone list for backup. Of course we have to have a pool for biggest fluke, maybe even Bass, misc? I'll post the tide/current data from the Nobeltec software so everyone can plan some drifts over the weekend. If you can post the nearest motel, that works for me. Also, to all of our guys familiar with that area, can you get fresh shiners or well kept frozen ones in the area? Any weakfish around then? Has anyone been fishing? I'm getting real impatient lately, hope the spring heats up fast this year. Take care, Jim.

The closest ramp to me is Pier 76, the ramp is OK they bang you for about 15$ for a one day pass. There are plenty of bait shops around if you need anything. Locally the fisherman hang out on VHF CH 71, we may want to pick something different if the bite is good. We have alot of hotels or B and B type places around, which do you prefer?
Just a reminder to you guys if you want to leave your boats at my dock for the weekend I can probably squeeze 3 or four on the dock, so if you need a spot let me know.
Should we post cell#'s here or PM them around.

So far the day is Saturday, June 4 of this year. The meeting place has not yet been agreed upon but I would like to suggest my private dock which is up the Patchogue river in Westbrook past Bills Seafood. I will have a small prize for the first boat to tie up, more info to follow when I get some pics.

Ha, that small prize better be an ice cold beer! In case I'm late though, I'll have some Molson swimming in the bait cooler. Funny thing, I grew up in Patchogue, Long Island, NY, I guess it's fate for my CSC. She wants out from her cover so bad, waiting for the fish to return. Later, Jim.
