As many of you know, we are considering a move to South Florida within 1 year. As a result, this 20 Seafari project boat I acquired recently is out of reach scheduale wise, as I had to bench the 23 CC restoration due to good weather.

Anyway, I reluctantly need to sell her and will offer it in it's as-is condition for exactly what I paid for her: $2,500. I want to make it clear that this is a project boat and will require a transom re-do and the usual motor/outdrive reconditioning one should expect with a boat of this vintage. I must also insist that the buyer inspect the boat prior to acquisition.

The vison I had for her is shown below:

It would be ironic if it ends up back in the bay!

Sorry to hear that you can't keep her Otto. If I had the $$$, I'd bring her back to her home in MD for stripers on the Chesapeake.

Good luck selling and w/ the move to FL.

Brian

Wait, my wife may be getting a new car. That means that I would get her (used to be mine anyway) '00 Jeep Cherokee, which means I could sell my '88 Cherokee and whadya know. $$$ in my pocket..... Old boats are better than old Jeeps, right?!?!? Let me see what I can work out. She probably won't go for it though, but I'll give it a shot.

Thanks Brian,

It's a great project for someone and perfect for the bay. If nobody want's her, maybe Finster will do the transom in his "spare time".

Otto, see my edited reply.

Now that I think about it, she might give me the OK. Our two little ones would really benefit from the shade offered by the cabin.

Would be nice for her and I as well. Intimacy is not easily accomplished in a center console.

Well, I was wrong. She didn't go for it. Not enough bathroom in there. Oh well, what can you do? I tried....

John, I live in Pasadena near the intersection of Solley and Mountain Rds. This area was OK but now that I've been bitten by the offshore bug, it kinda sucks. Spring and fall are alright when we get the big striper runs but the summer just plain bites. I know there are a lot of small fish around but I'd rather catch one big one, than a 100 small ones.

Problem is, I want to go where this belongs:

My Dad's 1995 Luhrs 320 Convertible

But only have the budget for this:

My 1985 Grady White 204 center console (I know it's not a SeaCraft....I was yound and ignorant! I hope she didn't hear me!! It's been repowered w/ a 2002 Merc. 150 since the picture and I'm in the process of building a T-Top.

You guys have given me a lot of inspiration! Keep up the good work.

Brian
